What implementation actually involves

If you are still choosing a platform, this is what happens after you buy one. Cookie consent takes two weeks and consumer rights three to five, both fixed fee, and here is exactly what the work is.

The two halves of the job

Setting up consent has a platform half and a website half.

The platform half happens inside OneTrust: the banner, the preference center, the categories, the geolocation rules, the records. Guided onboarding walks your team through this.

The website half happens inside your tag manager: every tag identified and categorized, the Consent Mode signals mapped, the whole thing tested per consent state, and the result proven before it reaches production.

The second half is the one that determines whether Reject All actually stops the pixels. It is also the half nobody on your team has done before.

Guided onboarding scope varies by agreement. Confirm what yours covers with your OneTrust representative.

What we need from you, and when

Before you buy: Edit access to your tag manager, and access to your OneTrust tenant.
Day one: A short requirements form, and one named person who can approve the design.
Day three: Design sign-off, in writing, within two business days. This is the single thing that holds the date.
Go-live day: Somebody with publish rights merges to production. That is you, not us.

What we do not touch

Your site code. Your CMS. Your DNS. Your production publish. Tags that are hardcoded outside the tag manager, or that live in an agency’s own container, are outside the implementation and we will list them for you rather than change them.
